Why WordPress?
Over the past years, I have spent many hours tinkering with the web and testing various project ideas, some successful, some not. I have always ‘bootstrapped’ my projects and ideas together and preferred to source ways to build websites myself. I first delved into website creation software many years ago to help control project costs.
In the years since, to the annoyance of my wife, I have sat on the couch most nights playing with and testing different computer software on open-source web platforms like Joomla and Drupal, but I always found that the backend management interface was either too clumsy or nonsensical. Then I stumbled across WordPress, and within a short period of time I realised this would be my ‘weapon of choice’.
Now, along with the knowledge I have learnt along the way, we offer that ‘weapon of choice’ to you!
Hosted in the cloud, Creative Platoon has been developed so you can access the platform from any computer or mobile device. There are even Android and iOS Apps to submit posts and manage content. The administration area or the ‘backend’, offers a clean and easy to navigate interface.
If you are new to WordPress or even the concept of managing your website via the cloud, we have built in features to help you through the process.
