- AI Product Descriptions writes product descriptions and search titles through the OpenAI API. Large catalogues run in a queue that picks up where it stopped.
- Email Newsletters is a WordPress plugin that sends your site’s email through Maileroo, with delivery reporting, a newsletter builder, and signup and contact forms in the block editor. It also works with WooCommerce. Depending on its settings, it can send your store’s WooCommerce emails through the same service with delivery tracking, add customers who register to your newsletter list and send a reminder email when a cart is abandoned.

Product descriptions for Costume Wonderland’s catalogue
Costume Wonderland has close to 4,000 costumes and accessories to hire or buy online, and we wrote fresh descriptions for the whole Costume Wonderland catalogue with AI help. The AI Product Descriptions plugin generated descriptions for more than 3,700 products from each product’s image and title.
From the same image, the plugin also tagged each costume by costume type and by whether it is for adults or children, and set its colour.
Testing on the awkward cases
A function that works on a normal order also has to cope with a missing field, a failed transfer or the same request arriving twice, and each of those needs its own response. We write the acceptance checks as examples you can read, run them in a test environment separate from the live store and only then release to the live store. We also run simulated user tests, which are scripted browser tests that use the site the way a visitor would. The Email Newsletters plugin has them for its signup forms, contact forms, settings, subscriber list and imports.
