Content Writing and Copywriting

Content writing and copywriting that helps customers understand and choose

A page earns its place when it answers the reader’s questions and gives them enough to take the next step. Your own expertise, facts that can be checked and a voice that sounds like your business are what make that explanation worth trusting.

Start with what the reader needs to know

Someone comparing your service with two others needs to understand whether it fits, how the work runs and what they will be responsible for, while someone reading an article is usually earlier in the decision and needs an explanation or a fair comparison before they are ready to enquire.

We read what you already have before suggesting anything new, because the right first piece is often not a new one. An improved service page, an updated article or a proper account of a past project can do more than another post on a subject the site already covers.

Website and service copy

Explains the offer, who it suits and what working with you involves. The headings, the supporting detail and the wording of the enquiry step all need to make the next move obvious.

Articles and buying guides

Answer one specific question, lay out the choices and back factual claims with sources a reader could check. A relevant subject is not enough on its own. The piece has to say something.

Project stories

Describe where the client started, what you contributed and what was delivered. Any result needs its metric, period, source and permission. A factual account stands up without an invented success figure.

Newsletter and supporting copy

Helps a reader understand an update or follow a link that matters to them. Writing the issue, laying it out, sending it and managing the subscriber list are four different jobs, and the proposal says which of them you are buying.

How your expertise becomes the copy

You can hand us notes, documents and examples, or talk the subject through with us in an interview, and from that material we check the supporting sources and prepare an outline, then a draft, in the voice you have approved.

We keep the sources and approvals on file, so the piece can be updated later without starting from scratch. The review rounds are where your business corrects the facts and wording before anything is final.

From your knowledge to the final copy

  1. Your material Notes, documents and examples, or an interview.
  2. Sources checked The supporting sources are checked.
  3. Outline, then draft In the voice you have approved.
  4. Review rounds You correct the facts and wording before anything is final.

What happens after the draft

The proposal names the pieces, how deep each one goes, the interviews, the review rounds and the dates. It also names who supplies the images, who approves the facts and who publishes the finished piece.

What this does not include

Entering the copy into your website, producing images, sending campaigns and later updates are separate tasks, included only where the proposal lists them. Where a subject needs legal, medical or other professional sign-off, that approval stays with the appropriate specialist.

Questions about content writing and copywriting

Do we need to write the first draft?

We prepare the outline and the draft from your notes, existing material or an interview. You do not need to write anything first.

Can the writing sound like our business?

Yes. Your voice guide and examples of writing you like shape the draft, and the review rounds confirm the tone.

Can existing pages or articles be improved?

Yes. An update can fix an unclear structure, add the questions readers ask, replace old information and strengthen weak supporting links.

Is publishing included?

The proposal states whether the work is supplying copy, entering it into the website or managing a wider publishing process.
