When a website needs something no existing plugin does well, we write it. These are plugins Duelling Pixels has designed and developed. Each one was written to solve a specific problem.
WooCommerce plugins
Variations Manager
Lists every product variation in one admin table with inline editing, so changing variations does not mean opening each product one at a time.
Delivery Date Courier Notification
Emails the courier at set times before an order’s delivery date, so the pickup is booked without anyone on your team remembering to send it.
AI Product Descriptions
Writes product descriptions, search titles, tags and colours through the OpenAI API. Large catalogues run in a queue that picks up where it stopped.
WordPress plugins for content and display
WP Client Logos
A block that shows client logos as a grid or a slider, with markup and structured data that search engines can read.
WP Staff Profiles
Blocks for staff cards and team galleries, with photo, position, bio, skills and social links, drawn from each person’s WordPress profile.
Projects
Runs the project entries on our own Work page, with project records, categories, structured data and screenshot capture.
DP Events
Runs events with more than one session. Visitors register through a block on the page, you manage the registrations and they receive calendar invites.
Corporate Video Hub
A members-only video library for a consulting business, with access set by level and time-limited access where a client needs it.
Gated Video Player
Places a video behind a short name and email form. Visitors enter their details to watch, so your video content brings in enquiries.
WordPress plugins for email and reviews
Email Newsletters
Sends WordPress email through Maileroo, with delivery reporting, a newsletter builder, signup forms and contact forms in the block editor.
Xero Review Requests
Sends a Google review request 36 hours after a Xero invoice is paid in full, so the request arrives while the work is still fresh.
WordPress plugins for speed and security
DP Critical CSS
Works out the styling each page needs first and loads that part early, through our own service, so the top of the page appears sooner.
Comment Spam to Cloudflare Block
When a comment is marked as spam, the sender’s address is blocked at Cloudflare, so the next attempt is stopped before it reaches the website.
WebP Bulk Converter
Converts JPG and PNG images to the smaller WebP format in bulk and updates every reference in the database. Runs from the command line.
How we build a plugin
We start with the problem and check whether an existing plugin already solves it well. If one does, we say so. If not, we write the smallest plugin that does the job, test it on a copy of your site and hand it over with notes on what it does and how to update it.
Every plugin follows WordPress coding standards, keeps its settings in the usual places and leaves your data in your own database.
What this does not include
The plugins on this page are examples of our work. They are not free downloads, and some were written for one site’s needs. Ask us if one of them would suit your site, and we will tell you whether it can be adapted.
