Websites for builders
A builder’s customer is about to make one of the largest purchases of their life and hand a stranger the keys to their house. They have three or four names, a rough budget and a head full of stories about builds that went wrong. They will read every one of those builders’ websites before they ask for a quote, and they are looking for three things: is this builder registered and insured, have they done work like mine and did it turn out well, and will they be straight with me about how the project will run.
Trust is registration, insurance and a plain explanation of the process
In Victoria, domestic building work above a set value has to be carried out by a registered building practitioner, and the builder has to take out domestic building insurance for the owner. Customers know to ask. The registration number and class on the page, the insurance stated, how long the business has been trading and where, and a plain account of how a quote becomes a contract and how the build is staged and paid. Builders who explain the process before they are asked are trusted more, because the customer has heard the stories about the ones who did not.
We build these websites so the registration, the insurance and the process are on the page in text and match what the registration body and your Google Business Profile say about the business.
How a build runs
- Quote What is included and what is not
- Contract Signed, with insurance in place
- Stages What happens, and when
- Payments Tied to each stage
Expertise is the house you finished last month
For a builder, expertise is shown by finished work. A project page for each build with photographs, a line about what the client wanted, what the job involved, how long it took and what you would point out to another customer planning the same thing. Ten of those, organised by type of work, is a portfolio a customer can see their own project in. Extensions and additions. Full renovations. Knockdown rebuilds and new homes. Decks, pergolas and outdoor rooms. Whatever you want more of, shown with the words that tell the story.
We build the project section so you can add a finished job from your phone, and we write the first set with you from the builds you are proudest of. The pages show a builder who has done this before, and they give a search engine or an assistant real material about what kind of work you do and where.

Authority is who vouches for you
A builder’s authority comes from the registration body, the builders’ association you belong to, the architects and designers who refer you, the reviews customers leave once the dust has settled and any awards or features your work has picked up. Most builders hold several of these and show none of them on the website.
We bring them onto the site, linked to their sources, and make sure the website, the Google Business Profile and the directories all describe the business the same way. For builders who want to know which sources assistants cite when someone asks for a builder in their area, our AI Search service measures that separately.
Why this matters for AI search
Someone asking an assistant who does quality home extensions in their part of Melbourne gets a short list assembled from reviews, directories, project listings and the builders’ own websites. A website with real project pages, named suburbs, stated registration and reviews in text gives the assistant something accurate to say about your business. A gallery of photographs with no words gives it almost nothing. Nobody can promise a place on that list, and we do not. We can make sure the material the assistant reads is accurate and complete.
Fast, and easy to browse on a phone
Renovation customers browse portfolios on a phone in the evening. We build these sites to load fast on mobile with galleries that do not stall, project pages that are easy to move between and a quote form that asks the right few questions and is checked after every update so it always arrives.
What we build for builders
- A project section organised by type of build, with photographs and a short account of each job, that you can add to from your phone.
- A page per type of work, such as extensions, renovations, new homes and outdoor structures, explaining the process, the timeframe and what affects the cost.
- Registration, insurance and association details in text, with the body they can be checked against.
- A clear explanation of how a quote becomes a contract and how a build is staged and paid.
- Suburb and service-area pages matching your Google Business Profile.
- Reviews shown with their source.
- A fast mobile build with galleries that load and a quote form tested after every update.
- Structured data for the business, its services, its service areas and its projects, matching the visible facts.
Questions builders ask
Our work speaks for itself. Why do we need words on the website?
The photographs show the customer what you did. The words tell them, and tell the search engines and assistants, what kind of build it was, where it was, what was involved and how it went. Without the words, a beautiful gallery is invisible to anyone who did not already know your name.
We are booked for the next year.
Then the website’s job is to bring the right enquiries, not more of them. Project pages for the work you want, stated clearly, bring customers planning that work and discourage the ones you would turn down anyway.
Can you promise more quotes?
No. We can make the website show your work, your registration and your process accurately and fast, and measure what the search engines and assistants say about your business before and after.
