Just for fun, I thought I’d do a little Christmas gift guide for you based on the cool and awesome stuff I’ve been finding.

Whether you’re looking for the hard-to-buy-for family member, or for client thank you/end of year gifts, hopefully you’ll find some inspiration here.

Manly-Man Gifts

+ Cool & Unusual T-Shirts from Das T-Shirt Automat

Free shipping, unusual designs, or get a custom print done from your own design – what’s not to like?  They also do hoodies, tote bags, kids tees & onesies, and “anything they can jam in the printer”, so check it out – whack your logo on a tote bag and you’ve got unique client gifts.

+ Micro Beer Club Subscription

Sign up for a monthly delivery of 12 handcrafted beers from around Australia, perfect for the beer lover in your family. Someone in my household would like this one 😉

Off-Beat Ideas

+ Spirit Animal reading from A Forbidden Life

“Gift an animal this holiday season.  One that won’t bite!” Limited time, pay what you want service from the very quirky Foxy Pickett, a fun idea for the hard to buy person in your life who has a sense of humour and is open to something unusual.

+ Moon Calendar from The Fifth Element Life

“This thoughtfully designed work of art is not just a calendar … a unique offering for anyone wanting to learn to live and love more by the lunar cycles.”  This is gorgeous, and perfect for anyone into moon cycles and their meanings.

Art-Loving/Creative Types

+ Quite Frankly Magazine

This one’s a bit saucy, “Quite Frankly aspires to promote an honest, intelligent and open exploration of female sexuality”, it’s a beautifully photographed and produced luxury magazine “designed solely by women, for women”.  I’d recommend this one not just for the girls, but as a gift to the man in your life whose into the arts and photography, something to enjoy together.

+ Best Art & Design Books of 2014 selected by Readings

10 books about art, fashion, photography, and architecture as selected by Readings bookstore’s art & design specialist.

+ Gift membership or one-off tickets to a local gallery/museum

This is another one that’s popular in our family, the NGV in Melbourne always has a few big showcases each year, plus plenty of interesting smaller exhibitions. I particularly love the Friday nights at the NGV where there’s great music to enjoy as well.

Business-Focused

+ I Heart Spreadsheets Mug

I think we all know someone like this, that not-so-closeted numbers geek that loves fiddling about in Excel all day long.  I’m thinking Dads, in-laws, office KK presents, and corporate gifts for someone with a sense of humour.

+ 6 of the Best Life-Changing Money Books

Give the gift of inspiration with a selection of money books, as recommended by Denise Duffield-Thomas of LuckyBitch.com.

Organising & Planning With Style

+ The Bliss Inventive 2015 Daily Dream Creator Planner

This one’s on my wish list, I haven’t used a paper diary in years but this makes me want to give it another try!  Probably because it’s been designed as more than just a standard diary, with extras like brainstorming pages, intention setting & money tracking/goal sections, and important astrology dates highlighted.

+ Leonie Dawson’s Biz + Life Workbooks

“The Create Your Shining Year In Biz + Life workbooks will turn your New Year’s resolutions from faded-out forgotten wishes in a month’s time into actual dreams come true. They are essential catalysts and companions to helping you unfold your most incredible year yet in business and life.”  I used this workbook for 2014 and loved it, great for friends who feel a bit stuck in their life, or want to plan out their business but not in a boring way!

Spoil with Scents

+ Handmade infusions of flower essences and essential oils by MK Wellbeing

I adore these mists and oils from Melinda’s MK Wellbeing range, and she’s just introduced a Christmas gift combo of mist + scented candle. I don’t like strong perfumes and I also like to go natural as much as possible, so these are my scents of choice. My pick for Christmas would be “Balance” for some essential grounding at this slightly crazy time of year!

+ Eco soy wax candles & other goodies from Lemon Canary

With candle options including Christmas scents good enough to eat, coffee, chocolate, or chai “flavoured” candles, or the new range of Chakra organic perfumes – too hard to choose, buy a few and your teacher or KK gifts are sorted.

Leave a comment and let us know – what would you add to this list?  And what’s #1 on your own wishlist?
